An incredibly useful site, which I have used frequently over the last two months for learning about and then laying both old granite setts and then York stone paving. Thank you very much indeed - a real public service.

Want to say "thank you" for such a great resource on paving, and base explanations. We do natural stone, slate, and concrete pavers in Washington State. Wine country around Walla Walla. You've created a deep well of information concerning your chosen trade. I will come back and dip from it waters many times when I get thirsty. Sharing ones experience, as you have, can only further to expand masonry work as such a good choice for a long lasting installation.

This is a quality site and a terrific mine of information on all the terminology, tools, specifications, and skills, for paving, etc, and a humerous approach with it. It has given me all the re-assurance I need to rip up and replace my old undulating, cracking-up, crazy paving.

Congratulations on an absolutely brilliant website. I'm about to have my driveway resurfaced (in London, so, alas, I won't be able to use you or your colleagues), and I've already met a lot of cowboys. You've given me the information and the confidence to sort the sheep from the goats. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you
