Congratulations on a wonderful website !! My contractor walked on a partially completed job and I have to finish it myself. Could only get general info from even the paver suppliers. I was particularly impressed with you emphasizing the safe use of saws with respect to dust and noise. If you rent one here I am certain they do not warn you of these hidden dangers. I have decided to to try the splitter.
Anyway thanks for saving my bacon !!

We've had a major project (for us!)on a new building site and needed to make a garage base with natural stone pedestrian access. The pedestrian access was involved as it was constructed on a falling site and on a curve.The information from your website was incredible. We were able to proceed and do both projects ourselves only because we took the time to read all the pages you supplied. Job well done...information....superb!....many thanks.

I got an offer to assist a friend of the family with
bricklaying, so I decided to brush up on patterns and
what not. I found this site extreamly helpful, only,
this is in metric, and I have a feeling that I will be
using the *shudder* English system. I find metric so
much easer. I would recommend this site to anyone who
is a DIY'er or just starting out.
