Brilliant site, one of the best I've seen on the Web, and definitely THE best of any DIY / Building / Renovation site I've been to - informative and extremely useful. No mention of sloping sites however, which would have made it 100% perfect - but who's complaining?

Just the site I've been looking for! Loved the diagrams - they'll help me tremendously with my assignments. Great site to use, very easy and very clear. I'll be visiting it regularly. Thanks.

Where is the C.D R.O.M of this Top-Hole site? Commiserations on your spine, my next-door neighbour fixed my back, i told him it was beyond repair but he fixed it. Little did i know that the torture i endured when cycling in Belgium was described as "Radial-sett paving"

This is the best web site I have visited since starting to use the web. The whole subject is treated "In depth" and explained in simple language with plenty of good northern humour throughout. The information would appeal to a whole spectrum of users from engineer to architect to housewife to house husband. Mcccomack and Son was a great help to me as an engineer who thought I knew it all. Maybe you will take your wagon down the M1 and do my 40sq.m paving! I will mix up the muck! Many thanks Eamon

You have no idea how much I appreciate your wonderful and informative site. I am currently printing out most of your drain information and I will be doing the same with your hardscape later. This will greatly assist me in my current job for a homeowner which includes installing some drains as well as doing my best and most extensive landscape project to date. You will have helped me complete this dream job, and I expect to greatly increase my business. Thanks!!!! Melissa - Almost Paradise (now no longer Purgatory)

I never knew what an interesting subject this was until reading your site! It's put me straight on a few things and persuaded me to go for resin bonded as opposed to a new coloured asphalt overlay. I just hope that I can find a local supplier that can undertake a small job. Thank you for your hard work and obvious professionalism

What a well designed site. Covers all aspects in detail. Usual DIY manual has a page at most and never gets to grips with the detail. You should consider publishing and sell on your web site. Thanks for all your hard work!

What an excellent web site. It's clear, easy to navigate and attractive to look at. This inspires confidence that the information is correct too. I'm a trainer, and I would like to use it as a good example of user friendly design. Please send the fiver to ....... :~)
