A brilliant resource summarising the pertinent aspects of this trade and with detailed guidance on practical work. It is evidently compiled by highly skilled tradesmen. I use this site regularly to glean some assistance in areas of work this site covers. Commendable.

Excellent web site, great information.we undertake a wide range of jobs and your website just endorces we are getting the job in hand correct or if we need any info we can rely on you to provide us with it.great job.regards. Steve.
Thanks for a very interesting site. I would be very surprised if there was a better, more concise introduction to paving etc. I am looking into imprinted concrete as another income source, business being slow at the moment (and anticipated to continue in 2009) I would also love to do a reciprocal link with yourselves. Please contact me if suitable. My website is just 2 at the moment but has been 3 and I intend putting lots of work into it over the next few months.

Excellent stuff. Now when I ask the contractor how he is going to do the drive, I can check that he is not cutting any corners and that it will last. Many many thanks!

I spent hours, days even, cleaning up my block paved drive earlier this year - if only I had checked out your site beforehand I would have known that all I needed was some bleach to do the cleaning up part - that's what took the time. I'm going to have to repeat the exercise next year as it was so wet this summer that by the time I'd done the cleaning up bit, I never had a chance to re-point with the (now-wet) kiln-dried sand ... But this year thanks to you it won't take me nearly as long to do the cleaning part and then I can re-point and seal ;-). For us girls who like to do this sort of thing (or have to cos there's no man in the house) it's great to be able to go out there and do the job with the confidence that we're doing it right, so very many thanks for sharing your knowledge, experience and expertise.

Hello one and all,not sure if i've sent this message to the right bit,but anyway. I was browsing through your bit on edge restraints seeing if there was anything new about when i came across your comment on Marshalls dead but not forgotten Form Pave. Having used PaveTech/Probst's Pave Edge back yonder i was surprised to say the least when Marshalls put out there Form Pave.I Still had the odd peice of Pave Edge laying about in the yard,so out of curiousity matched it up with the then new Form Pave.As i suspected there was no differance what so ever, except the product name.So i had a word with me old mate Steve Jones (no not the guitarist from the sex pistols) but Steve Jones of Pave Edge.He told me that they had no UK patent on the product so Marshalls were not breaking the law.But he said Marshalls sent him a very nice letter almost apologising and thanks for the idea. Maybe they could relaunch it and call it uninFORMed PAVE.Regards Nick.

Having been left in the lurch by the sort of builder who gives the industry such a bad name I was horrified when I discovered that inspections he said had been done by the L.A. hadn't. Thankfully a quick search on the net and I found this site which has helped tremendously and put my already overstressed mind at rest. Many thanks, you've restored my faith !
