This site should carry a health warning - it is addictive. Stumbled on it by accident and have been here ever since.
Rare mix of REAL expertise and knowledge which easily searched and well explained. Once I have got what I need I am going to suggect you charge for access.
Well done & wish you a speedy recovery.

This has to be one of the best DIY sites on the internet.
I wanted to lay a brick paver path and didn't know how to do it. Your very informative site made it so simple to learn. I've now done it, and fairly well too and have saved myself a fortune.
Now I'm starting to redo my patio.... so I'm back again. You've added so much more to the site since I was last here... excellent work !!

Your site is excellant - better than anything the so called 'Trade' offer! I was only surfing due to the absolutely exorberant quote's I have recently recieved for my project. I wanted to see what advise was available for the DIY angle. Through your calculator I can see how much they are overcharging!! Many thanks and well done, this genuinely one the best and most worthwhile web sites I have seen - should not this be what all the 'free' www. sites be like?

The site is excellent.
I have to lay new land drains because the old ones (2 years) clogged up with silt from the heavy clay soil.
I could not find any worthwhile information in any of my old college books.
The site has what I needed.

Well tony I thought I'd add my comments to the history of time.
You've been a great support in my garden project and your willingness to help is second to none. I've only used a faction of your knowledge but everybody gets something out of your site and forums. I've highly reccommended your site and I hope you get many years enjoyment out of running it.

Your site is SO useful. We refer to it whenever we have a doubt about the best way to go about doing something. I also use the calculators when costing, although I think we 'up' the price a bit!
Many thanks, it is a fantastic reference point and I always learn something new when I visit!

I use your website to provide constructive and practical help when determining which suppliers can provide which products for road, paving & footpath works. Your website is very informative and has been put together in an extremely user friendly way whilst also being detailed about a wide range useful topics. I would have no hesitation in recommending your website to anyone looking for this type of information.

What a god-send your web-site has proven. I'm having a nightmare time with a cowboy block-paving contractor - how many times have you heard that before? Came across your web-site, which instantly armed me with a huge amount of knowledge, enabling me to counter all his arguements as to why he's doing things his way. Many thanks indeed - it's nice to see a site provided by a commercial concern, without a hint of touting for business at every opportinity. First-class ethics! Well done! I'll be back to peruse further when I've finally got rid of the cowboys and I'm less stressed. Thanks again.
