What a fantastic site. I have been using computers and the web for many years and never have I come across a site with all the clear concise information in it, than yours has. As a confident DIY'er my latral thinking of my patio project has been totally reinforced by your web site, has given me confidence to commit and I have only been browsing for a few minutes. Now that's impressive.

Tremendous site. I was just looking for advice on average depth/coverage per tonne for gravel and found quite a bit more. Very familiar with the dry wit as well from my days on the sites (still miss the humour & general camaraderie). Will recommend this site to friends who are happy to have a go, like myself. Cheers.

This site is fantastic. It gives many choices of technique with comprehensive pros and cons. Also sensible criticism/explanation of myths and nonsense re paving etc. One of the best sites I have ever used

Brilliant!! I built a conservatory last year and now she wants a patio. Reading through your site has given me just enough courage to attempt it myself.
Cheers for all the tips and advice, I hope my effort does your site justice.

Brilliant website. I'm about to embark on my first (hopefully successful) attempt at building a block paved path. This is proving invaluable in helping me get started. Top work! Thanks!

Great site - I fell in love with the European Fanstone designs when I lived overseas and I am planning to build a showcase patio (myself) using that design. I've been looking everywhere for a how-to-guide, but until now have only found concrete stamping templates (much to my dismay). I think I drive my wife crazy with my "Why don't we see it here in the U.S. comments?". Glad I found your site - any other pointers for an inspired do-it-yourselfer? Please send 'em along, as I plan to order stone tomorrow (4/22/05). Cheers, & thanks! Rob

What an excellent web site, written with a sense of humour but lots of top quality information and guidance for the novice (me) and the expert. You have certainly given me some ideas!
