What a great informative site this is. Only thing I'd remove any recommendation towards Marshalls products. I've been in the trade for over twenty five years and have used their products on numerous occasions and have found them sub-standard and over priced. Their customer after-sales is non-existent. There's a whole range of other manufacturers and suppliers in the UK. About time we landscapers started boycotting this huge company thatin my opinion has grown too big for it's boots and cannot deliver it's promises.

Wonderful site, I had discovered your site many months ago.
I frequently recommend it to our trades personnel needing that little prompt on technical information, alongside our toolbox talks and method statements its an excellent tool for them.
Well done and Thank you

An amazing site born from your personal difficulties. I have had a 10 year struggle with contractors and am now finishing my house build by laying drive and patio. I wish I'd found your site earlier. Thank you for your efforts in so unselfishly offering valued support and information. You can be proud of your achievement as witnessed by the many comments of others.

I can't believe what a thoroughly USEFUL site this is ! I've spent half the day trying to get some sense out of a certain "Anglo American Company" about Tarmacing, and ALL I needed to know is actually here on Tony's site in words os one sylable with humorous typos to keep readers awake.
Well done and Thank You AJ.

An extremly well executed site, with a wealth of information especially on the latest developments/ research in pavings. Has helped me understand Local Planners request for "permiable pavings" on new driveway. Thank you for your splendid efforts.

You were recommended by the Hanson website. I guess you have saved me a couple of hundred in consultant's fees with all your goodhumoured and professional technical advice on these pages.
I shall rush out and buy the book ! Nice work - a really good sensible site.

Thank you very much for the information you have so generously provided on this site. I have just completed a new block drive which I am very pleased with, and I have been using your site as a reference for several months, from the earliest planning to the last jointing this afternoon. I must say the design of your site is just about the best I've seen, brilliant presentation.
Thanks again.

After getting a drain rod stuck by putting it in the wrong place, I found your website excellent. All I needed to know was how the waste water pipe that takes water from the kitchen connected into the main pipe running at the back of the house. By looking at your website, the typical layout showed me that it connects with a 45 deg bend, and I had obviously pushed the rod and plunger past the point at which I could pull it back. Problem now solved.Excellent website. Will recommend to anyone.
