I use the Internet a lot, and this is one of the most friendly, readable, navigable, informative sites I've ever come across. I moved into a largish Edwardian/Victorian townhouse last year, with a manky sloping gravel drive and cracked concrete paths, I've never had anything to do with external surfacing before and certainly won't be trying to do-it-myself, but the information on your site will enable me to work out what I want and give me the confidence to commission the work from contractors. Thank you very, very much!

Thank you very much for all the information on this site. It is great to find a site that speaks in plain, good, old fashioned English and in a way that is so easy to understand for a student of the art such as myself!!!!!!

Great site. I have never been compelled to write to a web site before. Consider myself an experienced home rebuilder and have just completed many landscaping projects at home - including block paving drive. Thought I knew a lot but this site is so informative. Any chance you can get suppliers to provide you with their product catalogues on searcheable database? Then we could search by product name and not have to open each supplier catalogue? Keep up the brilliant work.
Excellent resource for all substructure works, and free too! many thanks have found it a very practical guide to site procedures

What an amazing website. I'm thinking about puting some block paving at the front of my house and thought I'd search for some information of costs. I've just spent the last 3 hours looking at your site. I never though I'd spend 3 hours looking at one site about paving. If I tell my friends they'll think I've gone mad. This has got to be the best web site I've ever come across and in the great spirit of the internet you provide all this information for free. Keep up the good work.

Terrific - the advice on your website for a nervous and inexperienced DIYer like me is detailed and authoritative. It's just what the Wickes and DoItAlls of this world ought to be doing but aren't. Thank you.

Glad I found this superb site. Ronadeck Fastgrip may be exactly what I need to replace the old surface dressing on my shared drive. Is there a contractor out there who could quote me for the job? The substrate is in good condition, but we're fed up with the loose gravel getting brought in on our shoes.
