Dear Sir:
Thank You So Much for this web site.It has answered
many questions I had about mason's tools and reconditioning and cutting used bricks and an excellent section on walls and retaining walls.
I am accumulating used stone and brick (free) for a shoestring do it yourself project that is still in the design stage and thanks to you, I now have a much better idea of what I want to do,how to go about doing it and just what those weird looking tools are that my uncle left me when he passed on.They are a brick hammer,a pritcher and (that other wide brick cutting chisle). This will be my first brick & cement project,
as I know next to nothing about masionery and should be very, very interesting and informative.
i need to study more of your web site , but 4 hours is enough for one sesion.
Thanks very much!
Lawernce Montambault

Great site - at least I now feel informed in ways which can't be gleaned from the glossy brochures.
I can also understand whether the builder who is doing other work is cutting corners.
Many thanks.

Thank you!!!
All the info I need to create a patio - I gave up looking for a professional to do it as no-one will commit to anything - I suspect it's too small a job (10'x 6').
I now believe that I have the help I need to can tackle it myself - I'm taking it slowly, doing a couple of hours each evening after work & as much as I can at weeekends. It'll take a long time, but at least it'll get done. So far I've dug the foundation, & have just started to get the edges sorted.

Great site! I am thinking of having Marshalls natural Yorkstone sets installed in my driveway. Do you know if their appearance"fades down" in time to look more uniform? Grateful for any help .

This is what the net is all about! A great site. You must be reading my mind.I've spent 2 years trying to persuade my local council they are responsible for the ground water coming from the park into my garden.I can't prove it.So I'll try to drain it off using the information on this site.I'll let you know how \I get on................

I did a search on Google for information on block paving, I came on to your your site within 5 minutes and stayed.
Being an avid DIY'er I have visited several sites in the past looking up various topics.
This has got to be one of the most thought out sites I have had the pleasure to come across.
Information,Content,Ease Of Use = 100% satisfaction.
Pat's on the backs all round, I have already forwarded your address to several friends.
BRILLIANT

Despite having to convert pound currency and metric measurements in my head as I read along , this US DIY'er is finding your "Guide to UK Paving" to be one of the most useful websites I have visited.
Replete with examples, illustrations, photos, and understandable advice, studying your site is giving this novice the confidence I need to tackle some landscape paving projects around my house. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
