Fab site, found all the information that I needed to complete a project for college - I am a student at Pershore College and we were set a project on different types of landscaping and construction material and this then has to be handed in as a portfolio for marking.

Was just looking for some info on Grass Paving, and stumbled on all this! How refreshing to find REAL info on the net instead of info-mercials. Thanks for all the effort which has gone into this site. Simon

COngratulations on a brilliant, informative and well-designed site - it is obviously a labour of love! :-) Trying to design a random paving pattern for an area only 15 sq m, on a steep slope, most of it only 1350mm wide - what a headache! Using a combination of Visio, Excel and your incredibly useful advice. Now tell me how to find a contractor that's not a cowboy... THANKS
I have 40 of 68 pallets (17,000 Appian stones) laid and never would have attemped it myself without your site's very informative pages. I think I am doing a better, albeit slower, job than local contractors...and I am saving about $50,000 U.S.! Thanks!

I am so pleased that I have found you.I have been going from site to site taking a little info here and there, but I have been able to learn everything I needed from you and really feel confident about laying a patio in our back garden.Yours is the most informative site I've seen and there is a wealth of information which is kept interesting.I believe the site will be at the right level for most diy,ers and I particularly like the links on each page,in reference to other relative information,I may even write back and let you know how I got on.Thankyou so much.
