What a useful website! I found your site when I was trying to find how to clean my concrete patio slabs - but read much more than just that! I can't believe that you give so much information without charging for it, or without sponsorship! I feel I can trust your site more than someone who is trying to sell me cleaning chemicals! My condolencies for your sad loss last year, and my best wishes for your health.

Fantastic site. About to put down slabs to replace the grass our dogs turned into mud! Very helpful advice for novices - myself and my two sons! Thank you for sharing.

This is an excellent site full of sound advice based on experience and an obvious passion for the subject. This is all completely new to me and I was lucky to find this site during my own research into paving (I would like my drive surfaced in the near future). I don't think I need to look any further as all I will need is here! Thank you Tony for such an informed and 'human' website.

Fantastic site. Taking on my own driveway with reclaimed flagstones and this site has definetly given me ideas and a lot more confidence to get it done. Definetly will be back to check on my work and how things are done properly. Thank you for taking the time to make this site.

Laying a concrete base for a shed. Your site is very helpful, making it all less daunting - except how I will get all the heavy stuff up all the steps into the back garden! Cheers - John

I have spent my life designing, building, managing and supervising construction of roads in the widest possible sense. I came across this website by chance, and am very impressed with the extent and quality of the information and the website itself. The note about the reasons for the existance of the website and the obituary to AJ MaCormack Snr. (not too late for condolences I hope, lost my Dad recently and know just where you are coming from). This website confirms all the best in people and, as I often had to remind my colleauges, while there are some rogues out there, but there are also some super people who know their stuff and do a great job. Long may you continue and have your excellent reason 'for getting up in the morning'. (I am lucky enough to be able to be doing my own paving projects in my new house - despite having had a stoke 18 months ago, - the quality is fine though I say so myself - but it's a good job I'm not relying on an output bonus!)
