It's just great to see a truly non-cowboy, genuine, education-related site that benefits contractors and clients alike - general builders should take note and try to emulate this superb facility and thus eliminate the myths and BS surrounding the trade, leaving us all with a far better reputation and less tar from the brushes of the not so scrupulous.

Very useful site. Gives clear information and diagrams. Seems to cover a wide range of areas. I have not undertaken these kinds of groundworks before and I will certainly use the information to full advantage. A list of tarmac/bitmac companies would be useful!

Excellent site. Found calculators invaluable. Wish I could download them to my computer to use for gauging quantities. Good luck. Joe

This is the first site I have found that shares many tricks of the trade. This site has been most helpful. The animated version of laying the 45 H-Bone helped me overcome one of my biggest obstacles. I will pass this site on to anyone with any paving questions. Thanks for your effort in creating this site.

Being a 57 year old female,it was so much easier to find what I needed to know about crazy paving from your fantastic site than asking men who obviously thought I was crazy to do it! I feel confident that my effort will look better than their sample in the showroom!

great site, simple layout. i do paving as a job and found information on this site useful, but noticed that a lot of methods common where i live are not mentioned, or are slightly different. For example if you are using rails to screed a section, we lay the pavers until we are near enough to the trenches to fill them with sand and level them out with a short screed or a level, and that way none of the base is damaged.

G'day, Thanks for all the info. Couldnt find mention of Crazy Pave on any Aussie sites, but yours is choc full of goodness! Great site, its a real help & I'm much more confident of taking on my own DIY paving (although slowly & carefully). Cheers Ben
Superb resource for anyone involved in paving. Hope you take up my idea to include a section on recessed manhole covers!!!

Many thanks for an extremely informatice site. I am in the process of planning a self build house that requires me to build a 200m access road. I have been searching the internet for ages to find some useful data on construction methods and costs. Armed with the information on your site I feel that I will have a lot better chance in getting it right.

The site is amazing..it is packed with loads of good infomation...and the calculaors are a must have really, can save aload of time!! i have to say the thing i find the best is that you can get a CD with all the stuff on it!! i mean what a great idea! the whole website get thumbs up, but then it does lack in places: not all the parts has all info, e.g. brick wall dos not contain infomation on prices, pros and cons and uses...i know some it may be obvious, but i feel it could be added!! thats all folk

It is very rare to find a site which contains diverse information on a subject, has basic and detailed help,is easy to navigate, and loads up quickly. Even more surprising when a lot of the material is for the consumer to 'get it right first time' and not need to use the services of the host! If more sites were like this web searching would be a delight and not the the frustrating task it is most of the time.

What a site fantastic .At last I can prove that sub-bases and geo-tec are nessasary despite what the customers see on Groundforce. Thankyou again Jon
Your site comes up regularly when I am searching for information about materials or stone products and laying techniques. Most recently for resin bonded aggregate and Porphyry setts. It is very informative (eg. describing different laying techniques for resin-bonded and resin-bound aggregate). Thank you.
