Thank you for such a great and informative website. You have beautiful presentation but also very useful information. I think the editor of a professional website such as yours should know that the word "inquiries" in the cement cleaning section is misspelled. I happened to be reading that section and I am very grateful for your help.

Been cutting wood for about 35 years. Hate the ... stuff almost as much as I dislike customers. Quite like laying the occasional slab for a change, good information here. Thanks

You do a search on the internet for something like mortar and you get 500000 porn sites and a hotel in Aurtralia. But once in a while you get lucky. your site is the best and most comprehensive of its type i have ever seen by a long way. bless you for taking the time to do it and giving us DIYers a fighting chance. best regards cliff

This is a fantastic site, Tony, which helping me understand about self-binding gravel and the need for sub-bases. Keep up the good work. JB (self-builder)

A fantastic detailed and incredibly useful site! I have only one very small niggle in that when printing off the pages (A4) the right hand side of the page loses about the last 2 or 3 letters - very annoying on the links to suppliers page (that is so helpful) as all the phone numbers have to be written in by hand. Otherwise congratulations
Thanks for all the information on your fantastic site. I have rarely found such a good website on any subject! :0) - AJ

Great site. I'm studying for an NVQ Level 3 in carpentry. Our lecturers encourage us to have as much knowlege as possible if we at some point in the future go for a supervisory position within the industry. This site has given me a better understanding of paving and I'm sure that what I've learned will get me out of a few stitch-ups when we have our mock site meetings!. Thanks.

Thank you for putting together such an amazingly useful site. I've been looking for info on a concrete mix that was very confusingly described by the structural engineer, no one seemed to know what it was. Would there be anything on The Paving Expert? Of course there would! Good info and no nonsense - brilliant. Thanks again

Love the site, popped in and stayed for ages. Heartily agree with the decking remarks(Blue pallets) but 'she who must be obeyed' is insisting....Seriously, had I known of this site 5 years ago I would have saved a fortune on stupid books that never really have all the answers.

Great site, guys! It will be our bible as we lay our new drive, pave around the side of our house and extend our terrace in the backyard. Bet you didn't think the Aussies would pop up here...
