This is an exceptional site. It is clearly the premier information/instructional site on the entire internet for pavers and practical advice for all aspects of installation.

Great site, was the only one which answered all my questions about paving, mortar, and a myriad of others, and it's in simple terms anyone can understand.
Cheers, keep it up.

What an extremely useful and informative site. I am looking to have my patio re-layed and this site has been extremely helpful in uderstanding what the different companies are quoting for. The site is very well designed and easy to find your way around. If only more sites were like this.

As an 'advanced diy-er' I came looking for a little information on paving mortar mixes and found this wonderful site. Real hands on experts who know (and more importantly take pride) in their trade. Thanks for sharing all this information.

Just a fantastic site! Looking out my window at my half finished Marshall Saxon Buff patio and thinking had I not visited this site I would have been looking at an expensive pile of rubble. By the way a top tip for other DIY'ers like me. I was struggling with spacing the flags, taped together two of those plastic wedges you use for laying laminate floors. Not only can you adjust until you get the exact with, but you end up with two points, which are great for pushing into the sand.

I have this site on my xda11 smartphone bookmark and use it 2-3 times per week, mainly for the calculators but often as a quick reference on how to. ... marvelous.

Having spent several hours scouring the web for sites about chemical staining of concrete it was a pleasure to come on yours which I found straightforward without the usual self-serving/promotional bs.
If I lived in your area I'd certainly consult you.

The site is very useful to me. I work as a civil engineer in the firm mentioned above and every now and then we specify block paving in terms of 'construction' i.e. specifying the different layers of materials below the block paving. Thanks

I started searching through necessity.
I continued in curiosity, and I am so PleaseD that I looked at your article on lighting. Recessing, (even though ducting has already been sunk), hadn't entered by head.
