An utterly superb piece of work, a true master of a craft. As a reference it is invaluable. Thank you.

I've often perused this site and drank in the helpful information it offers - purely out of interest. Now, faced with the task of re-pointing a badly laid patio, I feel suddenly able to do what I thought I might have to pay the local cowboys £600 to do! The presentation and style of writing (complete with so many images) makes me feel as though you are speaking to me directly. Thank you for such incredible work.

This is without a shadow of doubt the best informative site on the internet, thanks and regards Lee.
Your site is probably one of the most frequently used by garden designers and students that I know, and is certainly my construction bible. Many thanks, my construction drawings would be hopeless without Pavingexpert!

Really excellent piece of work. As a general builder I am often asked to work in areas I have little experience of, and tend to rely on the internet for help. Having a site as well organised and informative as this is a dream. Thanks. Steve P.

I used your site extensively 2 years ago to help me understand and plan a new block paved patio. We moved garden walls, removed over 40 tons of waste and replaced old cracked waste pipes. I calculated the layers and required quantities with minimal waste with your expert guidance and now have 40sq mtrs of block paving we are hugely proud of.
I have never undertaken anything like this before. It was a combined family effort with teenagers and grandad helping out. I felt like you and your site were the knowledgeable friend every step of the way. I can't thank you enough. I am back now researching and planning my front drive and actually have the energy to say thanks before we get started again.
A fabulous website that I read for pleasure as well!

Many thanks for the amount of information and so easy to access. We had our drive done last year and I was looking for tips on how to keep it well maintained. I ended up checking every part of the process and am confident it was all done really well. Brilliant thanks. JP.

Excellent, excellent site. I am currently a volunteer restoring the old town baths here and we need to add a disabled toilet to the existing building. As a retired aircraft engineer, my knowledge of soil pipes, vents, inspection points, rodding points, angles, drops, runs etc are limited. The content of the site has been extremely helpful in designing our new installation. I will never be a real plumbing expert, but at least armed with the basics, I should be able to put something together that is safe, legal and practical. Many many thanks for your site. Keep up the good work. Eric G.

Having come to this site for the umpteenth time to help get my head around yet another hard landscaping project I felt I had to express my thanks for a really incredible resource that is delivered absolutely free of charge. It's not the most sleek of websites but it works brilliantly and I'm sincerely greatful to whoever makes it happen! Good on you!
