Many thanks for informative and free information without any supplier bias. I have a large patio and driveway to specify when I remodel my house and I will now be able to discuss the alternatives with my architect and builder.

Absolutely brilliant site. Found all the information I needed to install a collector drain fro my garden. Any competent DIY person should use this site if they need information about paving or drainage.

Like others I stumbled on your site when I was about to start laying a small area of riven Indian sand stone flags. It is a really useful site and I will recommend it to others. Many thanks for your helpful advice.

Great site full of useful info for someone wanting to seal their driveway.
I decided to use resiblock on my which has now been applied and looks great BUT I made the mistake of asking resiblock for advice on how much to buy and they over estimated by 4 5L cans (£144) when I tried to return the leftovers I was met with some guy quoting the sales of goods act, in other words not in the slightest bit interested.
I personally wouldn't use resiblock products or have any dealings with them again.
Not impressed!
Steve...

Brilliant and informative site. I'm just about to attempt to repair my block paving where a flood has washed some of the kiln dried sand away.
Keep up the excellent work.

I'd just like to say how amazing this website is. Whenever a infrastructure engineer of Highways engineer mentions acronyms I don't understand, this is my bible!

What a top notch site you have created. I have just had my patio relaid with Indian natural sandstone flags and followed your advice in most of what we did. I reckon we did a first class job - dug out, laid crusher run whacked down, mortar with grit sand and builders sand and cement at 4:2:1 as a bed. Romex Rompro Easy was used to grout the flags and I am delighted with the finished job. On the day of laying, my flagging gang (my son, his mate and my two sons-in-law) were arguing about which side was up and which was down and were going to lay them the wrong way up. I told them which way was correct but they were loth to take my word on the matter. A quick visit to your website proved me right. Many thanks for your expert advice.

My working partner and I are competent in wall building, patios, decking and general landscaping but had never laid block pavers for a driveway or patio.
Before embarking on providing this service we wanted to thoroughly understand the implications.
Your site has to be probably the most informative on the web for anyone wanting to do the job correctly and to provide a high level of customer satisfaction after completion. Many thanks for this, you have certainly put a lot of thought and effort into your web-site. To have all this information in one place for free is unbeleivable, we personally would have paid. Thanks again

I searched hi and low for a good look at a harringbone pattern. Finally I found your site! I have never laid a brick in my life. With the help of your site I was able to build a beautiful harringbone walkway. your step-by-step plan made it easy and I felt I knew exactly what I was doing. There was no guess work or wondering if I was doing it right. This is what the internet is all about! Thanks guys(and or gals)!
