Your site is a truly great achievement. It is very clear and helpful - an example to so many others! I also found it very moving, though I was just looking for a method to cut slabs. Also, you write with exceptional clarity and humour. Thanks. Now where did I leave that damn slab?

BRAVO! I'm the Chair of a council estate Tenants Assoc, looking at resin surfacing for a carpark ( Well would YOU leave the expertise to a Council?) Your site is a brilliant find, with how to's, do's & don'ts & loads of useful info for novices and (as I have been circulating to) clueless 'professionals'. What really made me smile is that I thought I'd send an email just to say what a good site it was, then discovered I was not alone! You're a credit to the home country too! (Parents Irish) Sounds like you'd worn yourself out on the job so good on you for putting all that experience to good use for others. Must have been tough after being so active. The lack of the selling pitch is another nice touch.

Tomorrow I lay an Indian sandstone patio, 60m2. This great website has given me the confidence and know-how NOT to make the usual errors I would have, thinking I knew it all. 5 spot method? Me? Never!!

VERY impressed with the content on this site. It is clear, concise and reassuring. If only other websites were as informative and easy to navigate thru I wouldnt waste half my evenings scrolling thru dross before I find what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I was doing a detail for a stone quatrafoil in a garden hardscape, and realized I was uncertain how the stone would be cut in an arc (a tight, quality arc) Your website addressed the issue perfectly. Thanks so much.
I thought I knew it all before finding this excellent site,I have been here a few times before and keep coming back, Loads of info,Easy to find what i'm looking for. Thanks

What a brilliant website! I need to significantly extend an existing brick path in my front garden. I knew exactly what I expect the finished result to look like but that was the sum of my expertise. After finding and browsing this entertaining and jam-packed site I believe I should be able to calculate material quantities and order exactly what I need without sounding like a complete plank and I know roughly what it's going to cost before I start. I also have a much better idea of the effort that it's going to need and the order to do it in. The whole site is really impressive and easy to navigate. The Visitor Book was unexpected but a brilliant idea - Thanks for all the information.

Thoroughly brilliant site. Very useful to me as I'm training to be a Quantity Surveyor in the Groundworks field.
Checked all your information and was very pleased at the visual interpretation of the text. I have always done all my paver jobs as if the work was being done to my own property. Your site will help me explain more easily what we take for granted as competent, professional craftsmen. Thanks for a great site! Cheers! Robert
