I have to say, this site is GREAT! I am a project engineer for a security company that does a lot of gates and barriers. As more of the work we get tends to be be civils oriented and we use subcontractors to do the civil elements, I can now use the info I have found on this site to add detail to drawings that I never used to know how to do... but now I do :) Such a good site! Your website has been one of my greatest web discoveries. I've learned an amazing amount and visit it regularly for help with my current garden construction project. I love the section on decking -I don't agree with it but I appreciate the humour!! I wish there were more sites like this one!

What a find-this is such a helpful site, especially to me, a complete novice! I have also found this site useful for information helping me with drainage questions for my RHS General certificate!! Thank you VVV much!
This site is superb and very informative. Its opened my eyes to how much c**p most people that have offered to build my drive talk. In fact its fair to say that not one of them new any of this information when questioned. After reading this site Im now going to do it myself.
