I'm a student at Oxford Brookes University studying construction management and i would like to thank you for creating such a well informed site. It is very good of you to spend so much time to help those who are not so well educated in this area of construction. keep up the good work

First of all thanx for the great non bull**** approach. Where I work we have had a York Stone paving on a very large new retail site, I wont mention the companys name but the foreman has accused our cleaning company of damaging the paving via our Alto high pressure washer. Our staff have been taught and traine to use this machine, we have been assured by this foreman that weight on the stone can take 40tonne, is this correct? The damage I feel it is the continuos heavy plant and traffic going on this as certain areas where plant have not been has not been affected. The damage is grout coming off and also chips on the edges and some have even cracked in the middle, anyway thanks for all you usefull info I will pass it on to all my colleagues.

I like the idea of the Pattern imprinted concrete, but knew nothing about it. This site is full of very useful info. I can now go and get quotes and have a good basic idea of what the contractors will be offering. Many thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

A great site for information on the configurations possible. These designs are gaining some interest in Ontario. I am thinking of doing my driveway in one such design, which in our climate might be a brave departure from normal practices!
