This is an excellent site and I found the content to be EXTREMELY useful and PRECISE. This will be one of the few Web Sites that I will recommend my clients to visit for ideas as well as inspiration (so long as it doesn't make them want to 'do it themsleves of course'!!!. Keep up the good work!!.

What a brilliant site. As a garden designer I have found this site a real triumph. It has enabled me to show my clients how things will work in their gardens, not everyone can visualise from a drawing! It has also been a source of useful ideas for my designs. Cheers

Many thanks for all the info. Your site has been invaluable in my diy attempts. Could you also write plastering, rendering, plumbing, electrical and decorating expert sites as well please.
Fantastic site.As an ex street mason and paviour and highways design engineer and now a contractor i found your site to cover the whole spectrum of issues from design to construction. I was responsible for most of the design work in the early 1980's for Liverpool city council using natural stone materials including clay and also pre cast. I would like to know if you have ever used a mini paver for screeding sand? We have carried out some trials using a mini paver to lay and screed 35 mm sand bed and the results are encouraging from a poin of view from accuracy and spread rate.Compation is achieved using the copaction bar of the paver.Have you any knowledge of this method?

This has to be one of the best Web sites I've ever been to. The information contained within these pages has saved me hours of research and given me the confidence to tackle the job of block paving our new driveway. Thanks

I am astounded by the amount of information this site contains. I had spent hours on the net trying to find out all of this information for my college notes, and then there you were - the paving expert. Thank you so much.

Excellent site - I've been a landscape architect for over 20 years, and found your site to be amazingly comprehensive and accurate. I found your site while updating our specification on 'tarmac' roads and footpaths and was so impressed I've now read most of the site. Lucky I haven't got any urgent deadlines today! PS I agree with you about decking - what IS the appeal in the UK?
