This is brilliant! My boyfriend knocked down our horrible old outside toilet and now I'm laying a quarter-circle seating area with the old bricks (which is pretty fantastic if I say so myself). Really needed your help - thank you!!! What a nice man!

Nice to see this type of high quality information available in such a concise and well thought out format. Simple to use and with proper DIY and Professional information. I wish more professional tradesmen could contribute to this site and create a truly useful DIY/Trade "how to do it" information back. Electircal and Plumbing would be perfect next charpers. Well done!

I was only searching for a source of reclaimed paving slabs for a raised flowerbed, but I stumbled across your excellent site which has now got me thinking about a more ambitious project! I very rarely "sign" website visitor books, but your site is so exceptionally informative, witty and well-presented that I just HAD to offer my congratulations and thanks! Extremely well done, Tony Junior! Bravo!

A web site that has provided me with all the information I needed to provide a base for my new log cabin. Also found a bunch of other really useful information, it will now become my first point of reference before tackling further groundwork jobs. Thank you very much.

Excellent site. Beautifully designed and 'constructed'. I am trying to figure out solutions for the colder, snowier climate 'up really north' and this site has been the best by far in helping me. I may have a question or two later for your forum.

Excellent site, loved your comments on decking, you have a great sense of humour. Your site has saved me a great deal of time trying to work out what exactly was needed when making steps and laying the patio.

I needed some sound advice on constructing my patio, and this site has all the answers. So much knowledge shared to help others (perhaps the rogue traders should look at this site to see how it's done). Fantastic site....iv'e book marked it. thank you.

I found this site very useful as I am an enthuisiastic DIY person who has to excavate and replace an old garage base and also to provide some linear drainage to reduce water ingress and damp problems.
The language is not too technical but adequate for me to assess the price and scale of the job.
