Superbly inspiring site. I'm a life-long DIY'er but the block paving had me worried. You have aswered the questions that I did not realise I needed to ask. I'm looking at prices for materials and tools instead of putting it off for yet another year, terrific, many thanks. TTFN, John

On the whole an interesting and informative site although I feel some of the advice is based on the short term finish and look as opposed to what the result will be 10 years down the line, but some good advice all the same. regards Neil

Tony, Your site is a gold mine of wonderful information and advice. I have just completed the paving of my driveway to the front of my house after researching and planning the project using your site. I can't thank you enough for the fantastic information, the quantity calculator was excellent and was spot on as I had virtually no wastage! Thanks again and I would wholeheartedly reccomend the site anyone.

I knew absolutely nothing about block paving, or any other sort. This site really helped me decide how to spend my hard-earned cash and I could understand which contractors were trying to pull a fast one on me! I think this is a wonderfully put together site and is an example for all to follow. I have recommended it to several people, who have all said the same thing. Keep up the good work

A very clear site explaining every step. I fact you make it look so easy. Having done some of this work before I know how frustrating it can be redoing a flag time and time again. Next week I plan to use all your tips especially no spots of mortar (every body says this is the way to do it !!! what do they know?????)

Thank you so much, I am about to embark on the huge job of covering my front garden with gravel and your site has given me so much detailed info. Wonderful to visit a web site that asks nothing in return.
