A fantastic site, can't say how happy I was to find the site, so informative and clearly written, excellent explanations about mixtures and so on. I'm about to embark on setting out some small'ish marble tiles for my garden, I now feel more confident about takling this small project. I have around 12 sq mtrs to lay...Many thanks... Phil

What a fabulous site! I needed some help to specify a "re-lay my patio" job after years of ants nests had made it uneven. I found everything I needed (and more, which has whiled away many a happy hour in browsing !!) Well done, and thank you.

A truly great site. As gardeners we are often called in when its too late. So its good to know that someone is at last putting good educational material on the web. One recent problem I was asked to solve was "why is my garden flooding?" The answer was some cowbay builder had used butyl pond liner as a landscape fabric

Thank you for the huge amount of information extremely well presented. It's helping me figure out how to resolve my drainage problem - wish I'd read the soakaways section before creating my own clay lined "sump"!

Thanks for all the info. Has allowed me to assess the sub contractors I am thinking of using for certain works.I had to accept the pavement works as part of a general tender, but know very little about the materials involved. Great site

Dear Sirs During extremely bad weather our garage gets rather flooded and we have been trying to think of ways to solve the damp - your web site has been extremely useful. We are now looking to see if you provide the service in Spain. Thank you Anita Dunne
