Just a quick note to say thank you for a brilliantly informative site. I've used this site several times over the past couple of years when trying to decide what to do with my front and back gardens, and I've found the information you provide so useful and interesting. Keep up the good work! :)

An excellent source of information for DIY. As a construction professional I find the knowledge of good tradesmen worth it weight in gold and there is plenty on this web site relating to good working practice that you don't pick up just from reading a specification.

What a brilliant web site! A goldmine of really useful practical advice, and absolutely fascinating to read. My Dad was in the building trade for 40 years, and I've picked up a lot from him, put I've learnt so much tonight. Thank you so much.

Gratitude and sincere appreciation for this comprehensive, authoritative and well-constructed site. I'm fully aware of the effort required to create it and am frankly in awe. To reiterate a previous comment: this is the standard by which all such sites should be measured.

Seldom have I seen a better constructed, useful, and well-written site. It sets out all one needs to know in clear layman's terms. An example to others!

I've used this site as my reference bible for my driveway Block paving and patio. Although I had a good Idea from previous experience I soon realised I had learnt a few bad habits and I was surprised at the improvements in the end results – and getting there. If Carlsberg did paving websites it wouldn’t be a patch on this one. Well done and thanks.
