This is quite the best site. When in Arabia it was the only site that I found that gave me all the info I needed to specify civil works for 6 car parks; I am not an engineer.
Now that I am back in the UK I am using Tony's site again to specify for car parks here. I wish Tony exhibited at Traffex, Intertraffic or Parkex to get greater exposure.

I just want to say a Big Thank You to the people who have put this site together. The information, guides and tips were invaluable in helping me to pave my back garden in natural yorkshire stone paving.

What an excellent site. Every question answered in simple terms but with far more detail, explanation and illustrations if needed. My 4 metre x 4 metre aviary may be a small project, but it will be built on the very best foundations, thanks to you.

I used this incredibly useful site to plan and lay a mixed patio and path (concrete pavers for shed base & nice stone slabs for path & surround). Did it with paid help of a neighbour, internet traders and this VERY helpful site. Thank you very much - it looks great and we avoided many basic mistakes by following your advice and saved a few quid!

What a site! As an engineer I am often offered unsubstantiated ways of doing things based on 'it’s always been done that way'. The info on this site is well presented and technically robust. I am that impressed that I may donate the price of a few pints of Guinness to Tony through PayPal!
