Came across your site during a WEB training course and found it to be an excellent reference area. Will definitely be using it in the future. More Links would be useful too.

Am attempting building a fish pond with a flagstone top (around the perimeter). Have never had any experience cutting flags. Your instructions on the various techniques for doing this were very clear. I will now get the chisels I need and see if I can do it without ruining the rock.

I am in the middle of creating new paths and a fairly large patio area. Not only does your site give precisely the technical information I need but as a site it is easy to use and works perfectly. You have created a tremendoes resource. Thank you very much for this free service.

Brilliant site. I've just moved to Canada from UK and have bought a house with a long mud driveway and was thinking about laying a driveway myself.... Having read this I think I need to get the professionals in to do the job properly. Thanks for saving me a lot of money!

I've been asking around (to no avail) about cellular paving to plonk my car on, then found your exceptional website through Google. It's very well designed and has answered most of my questions. Many thanks.

HI, Just thought I had to say that I simply wanted some hints about laying a gravel drive, well got more than I bargained for and was impressed by the roadside kerb section...out of my league but very interesting. Every piece of information to do a task was available and I have logged your site as a favourite for future reference. It is not often that a trade company will explain the pros and cons of choices that can be made. Excellant

Excellent site. Great tips and advice. I've been looking for "best practice" web sites within the construction industry. This is by far the best site I have come across and I shall be recommending you to others. Is there a similar one for structural concrete?

I first discovered this site a few months back. Have used it dozens of times to learn various tips and techniques, and have no doubt that the detailed information and wonderful diagrams you supply, are the main reasons the jungle at the other side of my back door, is now a lovely landscaped modern garden. All done by a once clueless but enthusiastic amateur. Absolutely top site in my book and not an advert anywhwere :). Thank you

I keep visiting your superb website for the jobs I am doing - an absolute goldmine of information, easy to understand text and excellent graphics.
I was jusr browsing for some coloured glass aggregate and clicked on this - what a wealth of information and advice. Even just the steps with pavers was an eye opener. You are firmly on my favourites list and I'm sure I will be visiting many times!!

Your site enabled me to design, specify and supervise the construction of an 8000 sq ft impermanable concrete bund for liquid waste. Many thanks indeed

Excellent. One thing many modern engineers lack is practical experience. This site explains in much detail terminology and methodology that would otherwise be overlooked during detailed design. Keep up the excellent site, I will be distributing this link around the company for reference purposes!

We needed to know the weight of paving slabs for balasting our narrowboat against a 300Kg Rayburn we are fitting. You had the answer, we use slabs in the garden as seats and a coffee table. Thankyou for the site, and an entertaining sunday morning. Peter
