Definitely not worth falling out with a neighbour if it can possibly be avoided.

Get a quote - its not that expensive to have it done by a contractor. At least the boundary isn't in dispute.
You're entitled to the work, not the reward.

Funny you should mention ivy. We use that to disguise the neighbour's prefabricated concrete garage wall that forms part of the same boundary. Still we are making progress with said fence. There is a skip load of wood, ironwork and general debris to be shifted before I can start digging the post holes. Materials are coming mid week so no need for the bonfire.

I agree Bob, not worth the bad feeling.

Hope everyone enjoyed the good weather. Managed to trim lleylandi trees, re-felt potting shed roof, fix guttering on other shed and spear myself in the stomach with a broken piece of fencing!

Time for a few cans :)

Brilliant Easter - one of puppies has managed to get one of next door neighbour but ones chickens, if u get my drift, - on a lovley spring sunny morn, the air is decidedly frosty. Big apologies in order.....

as if? bedroom done so having today off. might go to arlington speedway, theres monster trucks etc. go car boot first look for a nice painting to compliment the decor. then maybe flix tonight. got to cram 3 days into one. :laugh:

bless em. theres always next bank hol m8, you can make it extra special.hate to see kids poorly. my granddaughter was rushed to hospital new years eve and was on a life support machine, then she was rushed to guys. it was touch and go. shes ok now tho, so make my time with her special.
