Nice long weekend ahead of us - what you lot got planned?
Must take the kids out to an activity park - Crealy Park, t'other side of Exeter sounds favourite at the moment.
I need to install some 6"x5" kerbs at the lower edge of the garden where it meets the shared lane to enable me to create a sloped parking area for my trailer - pushing the trailer up a muddy incline into it's (grassed) parking area isn't easy.....well so the wife tells me, she usually gets roped into assisting me getting it there!
Apart from that, a bit of 'recharge ones batteries' and maybe a few beers, that's it for me!

Our next door neighbour's garden fence has been falling down for over 4 years now and it looks an absolute disgrace. Today the wife finally had enough. She voluntered to pay for the materials and for me to put it up at the weekend. When we put this politely to the neighbour, he said no!, he wants a proper job done. What!!!!!! Nothing could be worse than what's up there now. It's hidden from their view but we have to suffer seeing it every day. How come fences are such a problem with some people??
If we keep the pressure on, it might get done by the end of 2008???
Down the M1/M25/A3 on Saturday to see the folks in the smoke. Here's hoping the traffic is sensible, last time we drove on a B/H Weekend it was like being in 70/80mph traffic jam all the way and all the way back, great fun!
Have a good weekend everyone.

T/L,
Yes, I suppose I could but if I did, it would be the end of a fairly good neighbourly relationship and wouldn't be worth it.
I have offered to help with the work to try and move things on and that's the only real pressure I can put on the guy. Its such a simple job and could be completed in 2 days max!
