I was working away yesterday and during the afternoon developed a strong pain in the centre left of my chest
dropped the lads off then went home (it was our 10th wedding anniversary)
the missus says "how are you?"
to which i replied "not good ,chest pains"
her mum then said "omg we have been to 2 funerals already this week" (cheers for that mum in law)
so off to the Luton and Dunstable hospital
I have just been released now after a full battery of tests, when i say full i mean like every hour during the night they were checking ecg, blood sugar, blood pressure, pulse etc
they also did an xray, a stress test (walking on a treadmill whilst wired up) and an enzyme test
the final outcome??
i have pulled an intercordial muscle apparently this is 1 of a number of muscles that entwine your rib cage.
yay result!
but i have to say that every person nurse doctor consultant that i dealt with was outstanding and for me anyway it was a humbling experience being in the company of these people
they deserve maximum praise from me anyway

Had a similar experience a couple of years ago. After a trip to the jon, I had an alarming movement, bright red and crimson water.
Keeping my head I mulled over what to do, will writing, who was going to have what etc.
Sat the wife down and explained what had happened and how a trip to the docs was probably academic. Cool as a cucumber she said 'Oh well, that will teach you to stuff yourself on beetroot'
Haven't touched one since
