Tom,
Where about's in the country are you? as I can put you in touch with a bespoke cabin/shed builder if you are around the London home counties area.

What you need is Ian "the shed" Melb, see this thread, the shed thread

Cheers Mikey
Whilst my shed was 'economical' - I wouldn't recommend it for a DIY novice. And it took quite a few months of weekend working to finish!
Doubt whether Tommy has the time and patience for me to build another one

its seems different companies have trhe same product (toung and groove shed) but have quite different prices ...also -some "deals" are on for a while and its a bit of a maze --i guess i get what i pay for and hope for the best it blows a gale a lot up here in thurso... very big winds ...... so , please any more advice etc for a first-timer would be welcome --- i wondered if its worth looking into second hand log cabins ? its a blooming long way to here from "there" though .... thanks anyway for the help so far .....

this site is very good ---- i looked into concrete bases etc (how to make) --- i like some of the pages i see --- i have a lot of DIY to do ..and at my age ! well -you never too old to learn etc etc ---- thanks to one and all for helpfull hints -
