Before you all tell me that this is a paving expert site and you cant help me, i already know but i am sure that at least one of you has the answer i am looking for, so here goes.
I can lay around 750 brick a day and i am also a tight fisted b***ard and refuse to pay a builder to build my porch extension.
The problem i have is that i am not a builder and lack the knowledge i need to build my porch, what i ned to know is my existing floor is timber and the floor i want to butt up to the house will be concrete up to dpc.
1. Do i wrap the new floor in visquine up to dpc and use a pipe to feed the existing air brick with air.?
2. Am i miles out and there is an easier way.?
any good advice would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks Alan
Concrete floor meets wood floor. - How do i do it????

There are some good builders on this site in the building section
http://www.diynot.com/forums/
They should know, if no one on here does.
