Hi folks,
I'm taking on a small block paving project (about 12sq meters) but am struggling a little to visualise the drainage side of things.
Essentially I'm a little confused, You know the concrete drive gulleys the linear drain stuff well from what I understand you need a fall of say 1:80 (Which to my mind is 1cm for every 80cm but please correct me if I'm wrong) however when looking at the drainage the start of it would meet the top of the block paving but by the time you are a few meters into your run the 3rd meter strip would be well below the paving level.
Is this right or am I missing some trick to install this stuff and making it look good
Sorry if this is a bit basic or indeed a bit simple but I am probably both at the moment.
Before anyone says I have read the necessary bits on the site (very good it is as well) but I must admit I am struggling a bit at the moment ...
Thanks in advance folks,
- J
