Hi
Almost finished laying my patio and path, I have been cleaning the slabs as I laid them just to make sure no mortar marks etc.
A lot of cutting has been going on in the area and I can only assume it's dust but not really brushing off and the slabs are quite white and all one colour rather than multi coloured like they should be.
Prior to jointing the stone do you guys get a hose on the slabs and use a hard brush, maybe some sort of chemical? or do they just get cleaned when your soaking the area to use the jointing compound.
Thanks
Final clean up

I would personally just soak them and use a stiff brush, if it is just cutting and calibration dust this should do the job, if it's something a little more stubborn, try a patio cleaner. Worth paying the couple of quid extra to get a good one, HG Hagesan is good and I beleive Lithofin are highly reccommended
