New here - and relying on your combined knowledge to help me to stop dithering and just act!!!

Basically I am wanting to build a simple shed base from slabs shed is 10ft by 10ft (3.05m by 3.05m).

Questions are;

Do I need a hardcore base?

How deep should the sharp sand and cement mix (10:1?) be?

Do I really need to hire a whacker plate?

How can I ensure a right angle - can I make a square?

Really thick I know

Any advice gratefully received.

Many thanks

Really thick I know
you said it taffy

the answers are as follows

q1 - q4 Read the main site!

you'd rather have me tell you this gently than get verbally roasted by Tony McC and LLL, I am sure they get blisters on their fingers typingthe same things over and over again

sorry If this response is not what you are looking for, but trust me, 10minutes browsing the site will give you all the answers you need

You're far too nice to 'em, Simon! After you've answered the 150th such question, you'll become hard and cruel like meself and LLL, and then, my son, you'll be a man! :;):
