New here - and relying on your combined knowledge to help me to stop dithering and just act!!!

Basically I am wanting to build a simple shed base from slabs shed is 10ft by 10ft (3.05m by 3.05m).

Questions are;

Do I need a hardcore base?

How deep should the sharp sand and cement mix (10:1?) be?

Do I really need to hire a whacker plate?

How can I ensure a right angle - can I make a square?

Really thick I know

Any advice gratefully received.

Many thanks

You're far too nice to 'em, Simon! After you've answered the 150th such question, you'll become hard and cruel like meself and LLL, and then, my son, you'll be a man! :;):
