Bedding layer for flags

I have laid the compacted bedding layer of 75mm of DTp1 in preparation for laying some indian sandstone flags following the instructions on this excellent website.

My question is can I lay the bedding layer (10:1 sand cement) across the whole area in one go (about 30 square metres) or is it best to lay it a bit at a time and lay the flags as I go along?

Bit at a time - remember, as this is a cement-bpound bedding material, it will start to "go off" as soon as it's mixed, so try not to mix and spread more than you can cover in around 60-90 minutes.
