Hello All,
I’ve made a bit of an error, I’ve laid some leftover Indian sandstone pavers as an edging course for a patio in the back. I used 5:1 sharp mix (dry) but didn’t use a priming slurry, and unfortunately some haven’t adhered to the bed, I should add I never used one on the driveway either (mortar bed edging/haunching, and flexible bed for the main).
The bed is solid and in all honesty once everything else is in, I doubt they’ll move. However, I’d rather it was right. So my resolution is to pull them up, re-lay them on on top of the old bed with a new 10mm 5:1 mix, wetter mix this time as float shouldn’t be an issue with only 10mm material, and slurry the backs of the pavers.
Does this sound like an adequate solution?
Many Thanks
