Sub contractor has installed an AC 6mm surface course

This should have been done to BS 594987, does anybody have access to this?

Does it specify that the surface should be rolled as standard?

We are applying resin bonded surfacing to it but it is not closed enough so using alot of material

BS 594987 makes extensive reference to rolling as the required form of compaction.
