I'm after a decent chop saw that cuts blocks, getting to old to be bent over cutting half blocks.

no electric chop saw is going to be suitable for cutting block as water suppression needs to be used

this is the best option other than a splitter

Make sure it has a laser guide to align your block. The water will wipe your mark out before it gets near the blade, a bugger if cutting angles.
