Micro digger through house

Has anyone had a micro digger through a house? Got a job to price which would be handy to have a machine on. Main concern is damage to floors. I have to check but I think the only internal floor I have to cross has a concrete base with tiles. I suppose it depends on whether the tiles have a full bed underneath. Interested to see whether anyone has done it.

no never
far too many expensive items in a house to wreck
kitchens, door linings,doors,floors
we have hand dug and barrowed through houses but uses cordek and 12mm ply on the floors with cordek at all the sensitive areas

i have used mine in a toilet /shower room , through a 750mm door.hard quarry tilled floor digging down 1 m for new pipe work, its all how you feel about doing it, i have no problem doing it, maybe plywood under tracks to stop scratching tiles, MSH

Lay old carpet on floors, 12mm board and you're away.

I HAVE! through a front door, down a hall, then through the kitchen.
Laid ply down first. It all went swimmingly, and the customer was surprisingly agreeable to it. Might have had something to do with the money saved

Yes I've done it a coupke of times with great success, I'd only do it on concrete or heavy joisted wooden floors though. A lot of houses joists wouldn't be happy with a point loading of up to 1 ton. Take the roll bar, buckets and anything else that points out off.

Thanks for all the replies. Was going to cover up anyway - will probably lay Cordex then ply. Dave, like the carpet idea but might be a bit of a hassle getting it then getting rid. Have often considered doing this but always too nervous about joists.

Aye, ive done it......very carefully, house stunk of diesel of fumes for a while
