A local tourist attraction has fell foul of the pencil necks at the council. Sadly, they had demanded it be tore down
ive just looked at the pics and this one cause some concern. Can they operate at that depth adequately?
I thought so too. Its way over the cab floor, so its in the engine bay. Would hope Gile could throw an expert eye over it.
I wouldn't like to be the driver
nah thats been flooded, its above the upper structure meaning the fan would be turning in the water, all the electrics in the cab, i mean you could get it out in an emergency if you kept it running as the air intake and exhaust are on the top but you wouldn't want to especially if its salt water, the engine will run as long as it can breaht and exhale,
i bet its not an owner operator
had ours in fairly deep
its not that fun being in water where you have to use your bucket to gauge the depth and teh bottom is 3' of silt

i take it the digger in picture 1 has been abandoned?
we did a trout lake years ago and the guys from suffolk had a special digger and dumper
think they could operate in 8 foot of water
massive tyres IIRC

It was a place called 'Heart Park' . A sea-side in the middle of Meriden. So you're looking at a Light house, not our contribution to the 'Space Race' Great idea as you could camp for £25 for he whole family or £40 for the weekend. No traffic, just drive 10 miles up the road to the middle of England. It worked really well, shame he didn't ask for planning
