first post so be gentle.
when laying slabs is it best to use string lines set for levels, pieces of straight timber to level off or is it always a mixture of both . having fun with a largish patio at the mo but the marshalls slabs each have a camber on the top face which can give a false reading for level. thoughts please?

Both, lots of string lines for level and layout and straight edges and timbers also
