Screed….of some description??

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hi all,

Apologies as i know this isn't strictly paving but i though you guys would have the answer.

I'm about to lay a bonded rubber mulch system down a path and over an existing patio.

My question is what type of mix to use a a screed. As you can see by the photos the path is a mixture of heights and cracked concrete. I only need a thin screed (ideally an exterior self leveller type mix), just to run over the path then onto the existing patio. Just to give me a better sub base before laying the rubber mulch.

thanks in advance,

Mike

A standard 10:1 mix of grit sand and cement should be adequate
