Can you help?
I am going to following the instructions on the site and lay a block paved driveway. The subgrade is clay so I need to know which geo-textile to use (if needed)
Thankyou

A geo-textile may not be necessary, but, if you want to use one, the best 'all-purpose' membrane is Terram 1000.

Thanks for that, any pointers on how to decide if I need one or not?

I answered this the other day, but I can't recall which thread it was! Do a search (see the links at the top of the page) on "Terram" and it will find the thread for you)

If you're sinking into the clay when you walk on it in normal shoes (not your stilettos!), then a membrane may be necessary, but if the clay is firm and not squishy (when dry) then a membrane is probably a waste.
