I've been asked to conduct some site trials on a new type of recess tray for block paving by one of the leading British manufacturers who hopes to bring it to market later this year. To this end, I need a couple of sites where the new recess tray can be fitted, photo'ed during fitting, and then I need to provide feedback on your thoughts, my thoughts and, if poss, the client's thoughts on the finished job.

The trays are to be fitted to the circular Plastic/Polypropylene Inspection Chambers (450mm-ish diameter) and are suitable for driveway or pedestrian use. If you have a job lined up where one of these ICs is to be replaced, we can arrange for the tray and frame to be supplied free of charge to yourself, and I'll turn up to supervise installation. Ideally, the job(s) we choose would be one that's being done by contractor, but, if you're diy'ing, we might still be able to use you.

We want to get this organised asap, so, if you have a possible site due for paving with 50/60mm thick block or brick pavers of any format during next week, can you please let me know? You can email or call me on 01925 762034. This is your chance to be involved in the development of a totally new idea for block paving gangs, so don't miss out!

Good man, John. I'll call you after the match, or on Sunday, if I'm over-excited! ;)

Only the circular 'modern' type just for now. We might need traditional square/rectangular chambers later in the trials, but at this stage, it's solely the 450mm diameter circular chambers that we're looking for.
