Fabric between layers

Good Evening All,

I am planning on laying some artificial grass. I have read that you need to lay a sub-base of MOT1, then a think (6mm) layer of sand on top before the grass.

I will add strong fabric between the ground and the MOT1, but was wondering (for the extra few bob) if it was worth adding a light fabric between the sand layer and the MOT as well?
