Anyone watched it? I has that ponce off 'Grand Designs' appart from that, Im enjoying the alternative building methods.
not sure i agree. in fact i don't! i have a lot of time for kevin mccloud. hes a nice bloke, and knows a thing or two.
The eco house on the other week is just up the road, and the guys who did it are doing lots more

I think our Kev talks in a way that alienates a lot of tradesmen
I like drawings and specifications
he talks about "a sense of light" and " a feeling of space"
I didnt like the way he described some irish bricklayers as "blockies" on a grand designs episode
just because they were laying blocks doesnt make them blockies kev :;):
from a builders viewpoint him and ms beany have a lot to answer for
customers suddenly become project managers
until the tiles that you need tomorrow are still in italy etc etc

When I get some time going to check out the videos when I get some time. Hope to do something similar, maybe in 10 years when mortgage number 1 is paid off.
