Anyone watched it? I has that ponce off 'Grand Designs' appart from that, Im enjoying the alternative building methods.
Toes curled slightly at the 'cheese floor' ,other than that, the glass making, oven construction, rabbit glue was excellent.
The Thermal Lance they used for cutting a hole in the safe was wicked. No wonder it was used for bank robberies in the 70's.
I find the program good fun. Kevin looks like he is having a ball.
Some pretty unusual techniques being used.

"a satisfied customer? we should have them stuffed!"
I think our Kev talks in a way that alienates a lot of tradesmen
I like drawings and specifications
he talks about "a sense of light" and " a feeling of space"
I didnt like the way he described some irish bricklayers as "blockies" on a grand designs episode
just because they were laying blocks doesnt make them blockies kev :;):
from a builders viewpoint him and ms beany have a lot to answer for
customers suddenly become project managers
until the tiles that you need tomorrow are still in italy etc etc

That's architecture for you. capitalising on his big name, can't put any technical stuff in there or joe public wouldn't understand any of it.
When I get some time going to check out the videos when I get some time. Hope to do something similar, maybe in 10 years when mortgage number 1 is paid off.
