We do a run to our local waste transfer station once a week and they get shredded and recycled. It would be good to find a use for them as like Tony says, they are very well put togetherlutonlagerlout wrote:I always think its a waste to skip the injun stone crates, they do burn well ,but never found any other use apart from compost bins
shame because they are well made

OK
well i have a very very large amount of wood if anyone wants any let me know,
This will have to be collected by you or a mate and i will assist with loading with a forklift truck if needed but i cannot help you load your cars and if need be break/saw any to fit in to cars vans or trams...
This is available as i work for a firm who does not need them, they are great to make things out of if you have some spare time.
They are all shapes and sizes so if you want any you will need to come with tools to break them up, some are even hardwood...
collection from Enfield middlesex EN3 from Monday to Friday

Please note this is only for pallets we do not need and does not include the pallets with numbers on the side of them as we still need them for jobs,
thanks simon 07746517937

Well we used to give it to local places like scouts allotment associations and a few locals but since we have now got rid of the lorry i cant drop it off anymore..Carberry wrote:You weren't kidding when you said very very large amount of wood haha.
If I were nearby I would take the pallets for a massive bonfire, BBQ and party.
So we are looking at other ways to shift it so it can be used so everyone is happy
thanks simon

yer they would at a cost of £200 a load for a rigid, but then they just take it straight down the road to the landfill...Pablo wrote:would a pallet reclaim company not take all that off your hands.
So looking for a good home for it, anything but waste as this will just go on and on... as it has since ive been at the firm
