you could get a dirty one for less, and lets face it, after you've used that one a few times it'll be dirty anyway

if you can find one for the right money, this is one great little compactor too, its the bomag 18/45 18kn of compaction will do the business every time. older ones are affordable, they come up on ebay at about 300 quid
it'll last a career if you dont leave it lying around where 'do as you likeys' can see it

have you got any work for this? my advice either take a leap of faith and buy one or just hire one till you have a real need for one
posting ebay links here all the time ppl will just start ignoring you, find one you like and go for it. it might be crap or it might be a great one but till you know something about whackers your going to struggle hence why i suggest getting a few jobs and hiring whackers then you can find what you like and dontlike,

have you bought one yet, have you not got a good local independent hire shop nearby, buy one of their used ones what we do and normally service it as well before selling it you, build up a realtionship with them and you get better hire rates and prices on second hand gear.

Surely you would know this.
A wacker plate is a data recovery device
The required data is compacted ready to be reconstituted by a data breaker. http://www.homedepotrents.com/images/pro/breaker.jpg
