Wacker plate advice

It was new once,looks ok'ish but you will find alot better for that sort of money MSH

the same for less money would do for me :laugh: i did see one similar for 140 but missed it all the ones on ebay are to far away at the moment

keep looking michael they come up pretty regularly
try and limit your search to 15miles
saves looking at ones on the isle of skye

theres only one or two belle compactors that run at 18kn, im not sure if that is one of them but do check. the extra 4kn is worth the money

My mate brought one of those and i have to say its brilliant. It really does compact well, and its just about liftable on your own.

Just seen a cheap un go for 185 on ebay :p its about 260 new ??? i definately want a named brand but dont want to go new right at the moment im also after a cement mixer whats better petrol or electric ?

electric is cheaper for a mixer and more common. we have a big diesel one and if you can justify moving it around it will mix two full barrel loads at a time. it runs on a thimble of diesel all day and never goes wrong, my boys are quite affectionate towards it... sad isnt it

im thinking more belle minimix 150 been looking about and they all seam stupid money seeing as i can get one new for £288 nah id not say its sad im quite attatched to some of my tools :p

diesel are the best,but for most small building works electric is the way forward

we bought a new drum for about 65 quid last year
petrol mixers tend to be pricey and noisy

just had a look and they are selling em for £289 i can get one a quid cheaper from the dealer i get all my machinery from

buy it then get a new drum

For a mixer, what about this one? It's cheap, gets good reviews by the look of it, and available in 110v if you want.

I think I'll be having one once I get on to the slabs in the garden. Sell it for a loss and it's still cheaper than hiring and I can take my time.
